Lehandra & Deon - Delsma

Deon and Lehandra got married in the rainiest day that I have ever had at the office. It was so bad in fact, that the guests could not leave the church when the ceremony was over. That meant that the confetti had to be thrown as they entered the reception hall. 

As reception halls go, they could not ask for a better one than Delsma. The giant doors makes for quite an entrance.

The whole day was a battle against the elements, but that did not keep us from literally running in and out of cover when the rain gave way for a few minutes at a time. 

Many people see a rainy wedding day as a problem, but I feel that it makes your day so much more unique. I have been in this industry for 9 years and I have only had five rainy weddings. It's a very challenging work day and you always end up sick afterwards, but it is what it is and you have to make the best of it.
